Nissan announced it will release the new and redesigned 2011 Nissan Rogue crossover SUV on Saturday, July 31 at the 23rd Annual International Z Car Convention in Nashville. The popular Nissan Rogue update a look inside and out – including exterior, interior, comfort and convenience, and audio and entertainment system improvements. model names and options are also reviewed, helping to keep fresh and exciting Rogue for your active lifestyle buyers. The 2011 Rogue is now offered in two trim levels, S and SV, together with the Rogue S Sport Edition Krom. Rogue is scheduled to go on sale in Nissan dealers nationwide beginning August 13.

“It seems appropriate to debut the new Rogue from this important gathering of Z enthusiasts as Rogue shares many of the fundamental values of the original Z – exciting style, great value and a spirit of fun to drive,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America. “The Rogue S Krom Edition, with its more aggressive style, sport-tuned exhaust and 18 inch wheels and tires, also fits between the Z cars only many changes, which appear at the convention.”
Among the many improvements for the fourth year of production Rogue is a redesigned exterior with a new front fascia and grille, new front and rear spoilers, new side door guard trim accents chrome trim, new front and rear tire deflectors and new chrome plate finisher.
Also added are new for 2011 aluminum alloy wheels-18-inches for the Rogue S and Rogue SL Krom Edition package, new tires low rolling resistance (available with aluminum alloy wheels-17- inches) and a new roof on the body. Fuel economy has improved by 1 mpg for both on-road driving (FWD models) and the City (AWD models). The new EPA estimates are 22/28 mpg city / highway mpg Rogue FWD and 22/26 city / highway for Rogue AWD.

The new 2011 Nissan Rogue offers a standard 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and four-wheel brakes with antilock brakes (ABS) . S Rogue, Rogue S and Rogue SV Krom Edition are available with an intuitive four-wheel drive system.
Rogue is designed to meet the needs of buyers and emotional functioning – including the versatility provided by a large 58 cubic feet of cargo space combined with a 60/40 split rear seat and available folding front passenger seat. Storage Utility is enhanced by many features and functionalities, including a large glove box and large center console.
Rogue also offers a long list of standard safety features including six standard airbags – front seat-mounted side impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor Improved forward and outboard rear-seat head protection for occupants.
Rogue available technology includes Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately) Nissan navigation system, rearview mirrors Monitor, Xenon headlights and a Bose audio system-developed .
The new Rogue SV model is designed to provide excellent value, with the standard 6-way power driver seat, power driver seat lumbar support, rear view monitor, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, Nissan Intelligent Key ™ and several other features previously available Rogue SL in 2010. Two packages of options available, the Premium Package and the SL package, including the Nissan navigation system.
For buyers seeking a sportier look, the Rogue S Krom Edition includes an exclusive front grille and bumper with fog lights, unique rear fascia, center-exit sports exhaust, integrated rear spoiler, body color, power color outside mirrors and new 18-inch bright-finish aluminum alloy wheels.
